We met in Thailand, both on different mission trips; however, we came to learn we lived just 10 minutes from each other back in the states! Our love for traveling, Jesus and family brought us together, we got married and soon after we decided we were ready to start a family.

After our first two children we tried for a third without any success. We decided to skip going down the infertility route and instead pursue adoption.

Adoption has always been a part of Marlana’s life, as her sister, mother and grandfather were all adopted. This led us to Lucas, who we adopted a year and a half ago.

We have experienced how adoption can bring people and families together and it is our hope to continue to be a part of that with this adoption. Our boys are very excited with the possibility of a new sibling!
